Autumn Term 2023
Year 2 planted sweet peas to start off their topic on plants.
Year 1 planted sweet pea seeds. They are now waiting patiently for them to grow!

Y6's assembly was all about the Ancient Egyptians! Well done to Y6!
Y2 worked hard on their geography field trip to Heaton Park. They had some fun too!
We dressed up in yellow and donated to the charity Young Minds, for our Hello Yellow Day!
KS1 sang 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams & shared their Hello Yellow work in their assembly today!
Y3 helped Mr Conteh plant bulbs, ready for Spring!
EYFS went on an Autumn walk and collected leaves, conkers and pine cones!

Y3/4 have been learning the names and the purpose of each part of our digestive system.
To start their new topic KS1 took part in a Victorian school day!
Year 3-4 have been learning about how to take care of their teeth.
Year 2 explored the school grounds and identified deciduous and evergreen trees.
School Council visited Forest Schools at Butterstile and Heaton Park Primary.
Year 5-6 used a riddle and co-ordinates to plot a map through Alchemy Island.
This week our Nursery children found a lost penguin!
Y5-6 learnt how some materials can dissolve to form a solution.
Y6 had fun solving the Alchemy Island riddle and plotting a route through!
Year 1 went on a leaf hunt to discover if all leaves are the same.
Our EYFS performed a beautiful Nativity called It's A Baby!

EYFS and KS1 enjoyed decorating biscuits as part of our Festive Fun Day!
Year 2 had so much fun on our Festive Fun Day and finished with a party in the afternoon!
Year 1-2 enjoyed our own clothes day and a fun day of activities to celebrate the end of term!
Y4 had lots of fun on this week making peppermint creams and salt dough decorations!
