Year 1/2B Spellings

We enjoyed our first session of Forest School with Mr King. We made paper aeroplanes, played on the new swings and hammocks and helped water the plants.
We finally enjoyed some sunshine and did our PE lesson outside! We were learning skills used in cricket and we had lots of fun in the sun.
In Dt, we have been making moon buggies. We have worked really hard and they look great! Have a look at our pictures.
In maths, we have started our multiplication unit. We have been looking at equal groups and how these link with our 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
We have been doing some planet art linked to our topic, Moon Zoom. Look at the planets we have created!
We have been printing in our art lessons. We have looked at famous artist that use printing techniques. We then made our own flower designs and printed them onto paper.
We have been learning about shapes - counting sides and vertices. We made different 2D shapes with lolly sticks and then counted the sides and vertices.
