For our first project we focussed on waste and recycling.

We introduced recycling bins for paper and plastic in our lunch hall and organised a Bags2 School collection!

Take a look at our photos on the slide show below!

Our second project was linked to saving energy. We conducted a survey over lunch time to see if appliances and lights had been left on, when not in use.

To improve our energy efficiency we led an assembly to explain our results then set to work designing and making posters to display around school, reminding people to switch off lights and appliances when not in use. When we redid the survey again the results were much more positive.

We also saved the school money in electricity bills!

Take a look at our poster in the slide show below!

Our third project is linked to biodiversity. We are looking at our school grounds and exploring ways of attracting more wild life.

Take a look at some of the photographs of our Eco Councillors making bird boxes and bird feeders!
