Year 5 had a fantastic time visiting Liverpool World Museum. Take a look at some of the fun they had!
Wednesday 29th April - Year 5 took part in a Sophie Lancaster Foundation workshop. The workshop challenged prejudices and sterotypes. Questioning techniques helped them to develop their critical thinking skills and reavulate their feelings about difference and their reaction to it.
Year 5 had an exciting start to their Stargazers topic with a visit from WonderDome, a mobile planetarium experience.
The school hall was transformed into an immersive space dome, where pupils explored the night sky in a 360° environment. They learned about planets, stars and the solar system through an engaging and interactive presentation.
The experience helped bring their learning to life, giving pupils a deeper understanding of space and sparking curiosity about the universe.
Thursday 23rd April - In our first session of PE, for this half term, we focussed on cricket skills with Mr Kemp - bowling, catching and batting.
Thursday 2nd April 2026 - Year 5 had a fantastic final Forest School session with Mr King. The sun was shining and we worked so well together!
This week, Year 5 played a Maths game, to support their understanding of rounding decimal numbers.
