Autumn Term 2024

To introduce their new topic 'Dinosaur Planet', KS1 had a fun-filled dinosaur day!

Our Nursery children thoroughly enjoyed their first at school! Take a look!

 Year 5 dissected sheep hearts. They could see the ventricles and atriums.

Year 1-2 have been learning about ‘sculpture’.
Today they made imprints on playdough!

Year 6 had a fantastic time looking at real hearts and identifying parts.

Our Reception-Year 1 Class loved using practical resources in their Maths lesson!

Year 3 used saws, twigs and sticks to make dream catchers at Forest School!

We all had fun in our yellow photo booth #mentalhealthawareness

As well as making dream catchers, Y3-4 used flint and sticks to start fires!

Year 5 have been rounding six digits numbers in a snakes and ladders maths game!

Reception/Year 1 enjoyed their PE lesson outside with our PE Coach Mr Kemp!

Year 3 enjoyed some outdoor cooking at Forest School this week!

Reception-Year 1 enjoyed a movement and music session, as part of our mental health week

Year 2 took part in yoga sessions, as part of our mental health awareness week.

Year 3 enjoyed a dance session as part of work on looking after our mental health!

As part of recycling awareness we had a Bag2School collection.

Year 1 - 2 have been working hard on learning their number bonds to 20!

Year 1-2 invited parents into class to show them the Faberge style eggs they had made!

Our Year 3 Boccia Team came 4th in a Bury Schools Sports Tournament! Well done!

Year 6 enjoyed a morning at Parrenthorn High School, taking part in sample lessons.

Our Reception-Year 1 Class shared their work on Faberge Eggs with their parents.

Year 3 made beautiful jewellery at Forest School!

Year 1-2 had an amazing time at Skipton Castle. They learnt so much about the castle!

Year 6 have been creating some Mayan hot chocolate to introduce their topic, Hola Mexico.

To start off their new topic, Year 5 made Xocolatl. This is ancient Mayan  Hot Chocolate.

In Geography, Year 3 have been completing fact files about France and Spain.

In Art, Year 6 have been creating collages inspired by Frida Kahlo.

Y1-2 did some outdoor cooking at Forest School. The marshmallows were delicious!!
