Autumn Term 2
We have had a busy start to our new school year!
Bury Music Service came into school to perform for us.
Year 3 came dressed as people from the Stone Age, to start off their new topic.
Our Eco Council have made bird boxes for our school grounds.
Thank you to Year 6 for their assembly all about ancient Egypt.
Our Reception children have been busy learning and exploring this week!
Year 1:2A have been exploring lines through the media of paint.
KS1 had a Geography field trip to Heaton Park, exploring human and physical features.
Year 3 made baked apples at Forest School this week.
Year 5 covered apples with salt to learn more about the mummification process!
Year 5 tasted different kinds of hummus in their DT lesson ready to make their own!
Y1:2B presented a fabulous assembly on The Enormous Turnip!
Year 4 made these stone age clay pots in their DT lesson.
In Science this week, Year 4 were looking at how sound travels. They created string telephones!
Our Y6 seven a side football team played really well in a local tournament this term.
Our Eco Councillors made bird feeders to put up next to the bird boxes they made.
