Autumn Term 2023

 

Year 2 planted sweet peas to start off their topic on plants.

Year 1 planted sweet pea seeds. They are now waiting patiently for them to grow!

We all enjoyed having author Luke Temple visit school today!

We dressed up in yellow and donated to the charity Young Minds, for our Hello Yellow Day!

EYFS went on an Autumn walk and collected leaves, conkers and pine cones!

To start their new topic KS1 took part in a Victorian school day!

Year 3-4 have been learning about how to take care of their teeth.

Year 2 explored the school grounds and identified deciduous and evergreen trees.

               Thank-you to everyone who helped at and came to our fayre!!

Our Nursery children enjoyed exploring colours through printing and mixing paint!

Y6's assembly was all about the Ancient Egyptians! Well done to Y6!

KS1 sang 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams & shared their Hello Yellow work in their assembly today!

School Council visited Forest Schools at Butterstile and Heaton Park Primary.

Year 5-6 used a riddle and co-ordinates to plot a map through Alchemy Island.

We loved learning about all the different instruments with Bury Music Service!

We thoroughly enjoyed Y2's assembly  about the ‘Enormous Turnip’ and planting seeds.

Y2 worked hard on their geography field trip to Heaton Park. They had some fun too!

Y3 helped Mr Conteh plant bulbs, ready for Spring!

Y3/4 have been learning the names and the purpose of each part of our digestive system.

Y5-6 learnt how some materials can dissolve to form a solution.

Y6 had fun solving the Alchemy Island riddle and plotting a route through!
